About Us
United Telugu Association in America (UTAA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting Telugu-speaking individuals and families across the United States. Founded with the vision of preserving and promoting Telugu culture, UTAA serves as a vibrant platform to celebrate language, heritage, and values through festivals, educational programs, and cultural initiatives. From grand celebrations of Ugadi and Bathukamma to Telugu language workshops and traditional arts showcases, UTAA keeps the spirit of Telugu identity alive among the diaspora.
Beyond cultural preservation, UTAA focuses on community empowerment through a wide range of programs aimed at supporting youth, women, entrepreneurs, and new immigrants. The organization provides scholarships, hosts career-building workshops, and creates networking opportunities for Telugu professionals. UTAA’s women and youth empowerment initiatives help individuals build confidence, leadership skills, and strong community ties, while social welfare programs offer critical support to families in need.
With a strong organizational structure including regional chapters, state teams, and functional verticals, UTAA operates nationwide, ensuring grassroots participation and accessibility. Through innovation, collaboration, and service, UTAA continues to grow as a trusted and impactful platform for Telugu Americans. It is more than an association — it’s a family that connects hearts, uplifts lives, and strengthens the Telugu legacy across generations.
